KA-SAT’s revolutionary concept is based on a payload with 82 Ka-band spotbeams connected to a network of ten ground stations. This configuration enables frequencies to be reused, taking total throughput to beyond 90 Gbps and making it possible to deliver Internet connectivity for more than one million homes, at speeds comparable to ADSL.

The Tooway™ consumer broadband service operates via KA-SAT. Tooway™  provides an always-on service delivering speeds of up to 20 Mbps download and 6 Mbps upload, for users across Europe and the Mediterranean Basin. KA-SAT also responds to professional requirements for higher volume and bandwidth, with speeds of up to 50Mbps downstream and 10 Mbps upstream.

KA-SAT also enables cost effective SNG using lightweight, transportable uplink antennas, regional and local TV and corporate TV networks.
