David has over 25 years international business experience working in culturally diverse markets in Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle East, and Australia.

David is an Australian national and has lived in Paris, France for the past 20 years. He has significant multi-cultural experience and gained extensive personal knowledge and insights resulting from working with diverse and different cultures.

Michel Azibert - Deputy CEO and Chief Commercial & Development Officer.

Michel Azibert

Michel Azibert joined Eutelsat in September 2011 as Deputy CEO.

From 1982 to 1989 he worked at the French State Council (Conseil d'État) where he also advised the government on audiovisual and economic matters, before joining TDF where his appointments included Development and International director and Group Deputy CEO.

Michel is a French national and a graduate of the École Centrale de Paris and France’s National School of Administration (ENA - Ecole Nationale d’Administration).


Francesco Cataldo - Deputy Chief Commercial Officer, Sales Director

Francesco Cataldo

Francesco Cataldo is Deputy Chief Commercial Office at Eutelsat. In addition to being responsible for Resource Management, Managed services, Ad Hoc Services and Sales Administration, Francesco is also in charge of pre-sales, sales support to all regional directors and area managers, and assists the CCO in ensuring the smooth-running of the Commercial Department.

Francesco has worked in the space industry since 1984 and is a graduate of the International Executive Programme (IEP) in Fontainebleau.



Markus Fritz – Senior Vice President Commercial Development & Marketing

Markus Fritz

Markus Fritz joined Eutelsat in June 2013 as Director of Commercial Strategy and Marketing. In this role, Markus is responsible for further developing Eutelsat’s commercial strategy internationally, including market development and research, business intelligence, product management and pricing as well as marketing communications. He is also responsible for developing strategic marketing partnerships with customers.

Markus has over 20 years of international experience in the satellite, ICT and consumer electronics industries. He has also provided strategic and commercial services across EMEA and South-East Asia and held leading roles at ZVEI, the Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association and Digital Europe, an association representing the digital technology industry.


Michel Chabrol - Director, Marketing Innovation and Digital cinema

Michel Chabrol

As Director of Marketing Innovation and Digital cinema in the Eutelsat’s Commercial Department, Michel Chabrol is responsible for the promotion, marketing and development of new technologies like Ultra HD. He is a Board Director of DSAT Cinema, a joint venture company of Eutelsat and Ymagis, that offers to cinemas electronic delivery of contents (“DCP”: Digital Cinema Package), and live retransmissions of key events. He is also a Board member of the French HD Forum, in charge of the 3D & Ultra HD Group.

Michel Chabrol holds an engineering degree from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications (Paris), a Master’s degree in Science and a Master’s degree in Industrial Marketing.


Rick Howe - Television Business Consultant & Columnist

Rick Howe

Rick Howe provides consulting services to the television/interactive and television/online video industries. He specializes in the positioning (and re-positioning) of companies in the advanced television space, as well as providing business and product development services. He also writes a column, published weekly under the name "The iTV Doctor."

He frequently features the companies and the people who drive the business, and sometimes digs into a particular topic that appears to be a tipping point. A frequent speaker and moderator on television industry panels and events in the US and Europe, Rick is also a patent holder for Electronic Program Guides and was inducted into the Cable Pioneers in 2011.


Jean-Hubert Lenotte - Director of Strategy

Jean-Hubert Lenotte

Jean-Hubert Lenotte joined Eutelsat in September 2013 as the Group’s Director of Strategy.
He began his career at Bouygues where he was notably part of the project team that created Bouygues Telecom in 1994. He joined McKinsey & Company in Paris in 1997 and was elected Partner in 2004. In 2009, he became head of the Consumer Service Line of McKinsey & Company in the global telecommunications, media and technology practice.

Jean-Hubert is a Belgian national. He is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and holds a Masters degree in Economy and Finance from the Institute of Political Sciences in Paris.


Christoph Limmer - Vice President, Global Sales and Commercial Development, Video

Christoph Limmer

Christoph Limmer is Vice President, Global Sales and Commercial Development, Video at Eutelsat, in charge of video sales, defining commercial strategies and business development activities for broadcast and video globally.

Christoph is an expert in defining launch, growth and market entry strategies for broadcasters to develop customer value propositions, distribution strategies and to support business expansion .

Prior to joining Eutelsat, Christoph has worked for more than 10 years for another Global Satellite Operator in various positions in Market Development, Marketing and Market Research, specialized in driving broadcast businesses via satellite in Emerging Markets including digital migration projects and distribution strategies.


Claudia Vaccarone - Head of Market Research & Customer Experience

Claudia Vaccarone

Claudia is a marketing executive with over 20 years of international experience in the broadcasting and satellite industry. She has worked in the USA, Italy and France and is currently in charge of Global Market Research & Customer Experience at Eutelsat SA, one of the world’s largest satellite operators. She is responsible for audience measurement of the satellite fleet via the Eutelsat TV Observatory, as well as qualitative research on new TV reception modes and customer experience programs.

Prior to Eutelsat, Claudia led the TV Files launch worldwide (start up at the forefront of satellite delivered IP-based content), after beginning her career in the USA in advertising.

A member of the International Executive Board of IABC (International Association of Business Communicators), Claudia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from Seton Hall University (USA), a Master of Science in Communications from Golden Gate University (USA) and an executive certificate in Marketing from HEC business school (Paris, France).
