The new offer includes a main “feature film” channel, Orange Cinemax, available in HD and showing top-rank recent films and TV series, and four further channels devoted to family, action, art-house and classics. In line with the “Content Everywhere” strategy propelled by Orange, Orange Cinema Series offers increased flexibility and control to viewers for them to decide how and where they want to watch a programme. Along with traditional broadcasting all programmes are available on demand and can be watched on any screen, at any time.
Orange Cinema Series will offer subscribers more than 1,200 films, 1,000 hours of TV series, 200 documentaries and 300 hours of children’s series each year. Broadcasting the best films and series, Orange’s partnership policy with prestigious studios includes Warner Bros, Metro Goldwyn Mayer, HBO, Gaumont, BAC Films, Wild Side Films and Fidélité Film. All programmes shown on the five channels will be accessible on demand for 30 days after the first broadcast.
Eutelsat's two premium video neighbourhoods serving France, HOT BIRD™ at 13 degrees East and ATLANTIC BIRD™ 3 at 5 degrees West, will both broadcast Orange Cinema Series to ADSL homes not eligible to receive the TV component of Orange's triple play service.
