Service description
Software manufacturing companies send their files with the upgraded software to the Partner Service Centre via FTP, or CD Rom.

The Partner Service Centre encodes the files in the Eutelsat Digital Platform multiplexer and broadcasts them 24/7 on a dedicated channel (64 or 128 Kbps) via one of Eutelsat's HOT BIRD™ satellites at 13° East.

All the digital receivers pointed to the HOT BIRD™ satellites, can rapidly and smoothly upgrade their software. The customer has access to the file transfer servers 24/7 and a dedicated customer service desk is available 24/7 to solve any queries.
