:: Digital FTA reception increased globally by 22.1%, reaching a total audience of 71.7 million homes, from 58.7 million in 2008.
:: Satellite analogue reception has been steadily decreasing, to 6.2 million homes in 2010 from 10.8 million in 2008. Germany, France and Austria account for the majority of the remaining analogue universe.

SPOTLIGHT ON CENTRAL AND EASTERN EUROPE
:: In Central and Eastern Europe, pay satellite reception has increased by 63.5% (from 10.7 million homes in 2008 to 17.5 million in 2010), as a result of new offers and the previously limited installed base of pay TV homes.
:: Digital FTA increased by almost 30%, to reach 8.7 million homes in Central and Eastern Europe.
