W5 :: 70.5° East

The W5 satellite features 24 transponders capable of delivering a full portfolio of services including video distribution and contribution links, occasional-use video as well as Internet backbone connections. W5 provides an extremely broad fixed coverage as well as two steerable beams.

The W5 fixed widebeam offers unparalleled Ku-band connectivity stretching from western Europe through the Middle East and central Asia to southern Asia.

W5 also enables seamless connectivity from Asia directly into western Europe's vast audience, thanks to a new bundled turnaround offer on Eutelsat's Digital Platforms.
