W3A :: 7° EAST

Strategically placed at 7 degrees East, over the Gulf of Guinea, Eutelsat's W3A satellite covers the whole of sub-Saharan Africa and provides direct connectivity to Europe and the Mediterranean Basin. W3A combines Ku and Ka-band frequencies, and provides pan-European and pan-African coverage while guaranteeing connectivity between the two continents.

An important satellite for broadcasting solutions, with major clients including pay-TV operator Digiturk, EUTELSAT 7A also brings key applications to Africa, such as distance-learning, telemedicine, internet access and much more.
