SESAT SATELLITES
The SESAT satellites (Siberia - Europe Satellites) provide a wide range of telecommunications services over a very large geographical coverage area that extends from the Atlantic Ocean to Eastern Russia, including a large part of Siberia. The satellites also provide broadcasting services to Africa by means of steerable spotbeams.
Facilitating the development of new markets in far eastern Europe and Africa for all types of telecommunication, broadcasting and business services, the satellites also provide full inter-connectivity with western and central Europe.
Sharing the 36° East orbital position with the W4 satellite, SESAT 1 contributes to the development of international, regional and domestic services, such as thin route telephony, corporate and specialised data services and long distance trunk telephony.
SESAT 2, at 53° East, delivers telecommunications, broadband and broadcasting services, to Europe, Africa, the Middle East and central Asia.
