Gain access to one of the most vibrant markets worldwide
DTH households can receive TV programmes from both 13° East and 9° East orbital locations using an off-the-shelf dual-feed satellite dish.
Located just 4° from our HOT BIRD neighbourhood, 9° East has been developed to support all types of TV and radio broadcasting.
Dual-feed reception with a monoblock LNB: The Monoblock is an integrated solution including two LNBs and integrated DiSEqC switch, for consumers not already receiving the HOT BIRD or EUTELSAT 9A satellites. Simultaneous reception of two satellites is possible with a maximum distance of 6° (e.g. HOT BIRD and EUTELSAT 9A), using a single 80cm antenna. It is easy to install: one LNB is lined up on the main satellite, the other LNB is automatically configured.
Dual-feed reception with two LNBs: Maximum distance between two satellite positions is 12°, and the minimum diameter of satellite dish is 80cm.
Two single LNBs are needed, one for each satellite, and a DiSEqC switch. Installation is advised by an expert.
