AstraPNT is Eutelsat’s turnkey Alternate Positioning, Navigation and Timing (APNT) accessory, offering the PNT resilience needed to operate in GNSS-denied environments, in conjunction with compatible LEO equipment.

Its fully-packaged software-defined outdoor receiver is engineered to enhance connectivity resilience, when situational awareness, navigation and timing, and continuous communications are crucial.

Able to operate in fixed and COTP scenarios, the AstraPNT accessory is compatible with Inster Foldsat MIL and MIL, Kymeta Osprey and Goshawk u8, plus Intellian Compact and Enterprise series. 

The solution is battlefield-tested and operational today, helping to maintain comms in challenging conditions.

  • • Detects Spoofing and Jamming, logic implemented to auto-switch source
    • User defines priority order of source (GNSS or AstraPNT)
    • Configuration via USB-Type A
    • Operational status via LEDs, with blackout ability
    • Serial ports open (RS232 and RS422) allow daisy-chain with external NMEA-183 sources (Inertial, gyro, etc.)
    • Provides output of 1PPS to synchronize external devices
    • 4-hour holdover (when no source signal is available)
