OUR CEO TALKS ABOUT ESG
At Eutelsat, sustainability is anchored in our ESG pillars: the responsible use of space, bridging the communications divide, the protection of the Earth and space environment, and social empowerment. Our actions are also guided by strong principles of governance, integrity, and ethics. We are proud to be among the first satellite operators to publish a Sustainability Statement under the ESRS standards, reflecting our ambition to set high standards for responsibility and transparency.

OUR CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY MISSION
RESPONSIBLE SPACE
We ensure that we apply sustainability standards and regulations to our own operations and protect dark and quiet skies : create zero debris in any protected region as a result of Eutelsat Geo activities.
BRIDGING THE COMMUNICATIONS DIVIDE
We focus on reducing digital inequality by connecting underserved communities and promoting global access to information. Backed by the ITU, we pledged to connect 1 million unconnected people in Africa. We achieved this goal two years ahead of schedule.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
We are cutting our carbon footprint in line with the Paris Agreement, targeting a 50% reduction in energy-related GHG emissions (Scopes 1+2) and a 52% drop in satellite carbon intensity per Mbit/s (Scope 3) by 2030.
SOCIAL EMPOWERMENT
We respect all our people, customers and partners. Our goals are to reach 33% female representation across the total workforce by 2027, and to achieve 31% female representation within the top two management levels reporting to the CEO by 2027.

As a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact since 2019, Eutelsat Group makes significant contributions towards advancing our Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
