OW50SL-DAC
Single Parabolic Equipment
Fixed
The OW50SL‑DAC Intellian LEO equipment is a fixed, LEO‑only broadband solution designed to deliver reliable, low‑latency satellite connectivity over Eutelsat’s OneWeb constellation. Optimised for community and consumer broadband, as well as SMEs, healthcare, education and hospitality environments, it enables dependable connectivity in areas where terrestrial infrastructure is limited, unavailable or unreliable.
The equipment features a single parabolic antenna with a 53 cm reflector, engineered for fast and precise satellite tracking across the LEO constellation. Leveraging a fast retrace capability, the OW50SL‑DAC can re‑point from one satellite to the next in less than one second, ensuring service continuity and stable performance during LEO satellite handovers. The antenna architecture is designed to balance performance and efficiency, delivering consistent broadband capacity while maintaining a compact footprint.
Compared to the OW70L‑DAC, the OW50SL‑DAC is smaller and lighter, making it easier to deploy and integrate at fixed sites where space, weight and installation simplicity are key considerations. Designed for long‑term outdoor operation, it supports a wide range of operating environments. With an optional heater, the equipment can operate at temperatures down to –40 °C, making it particularly suitable for extremely cold and remote regions.
As part of Eutelsat’s LEO equipment range, the OW50SL‑DAC provides a cost‑effective, resilient and fixed broadband solution, tailored to delivering high‑quality connectivity for public services, businesses and communities.
