GOSHAWK U8
Flat Panel Equipment
Maritime & Land-based COTM - COTP
The Goshawk u8 Kymeta LEO equipment is a COTM and COTP‑capable flat‑panel solution for land and maritime use, designed to deliver resilient, low‑latency broadband connectivity over Eutelsat’s OneWeb constellation. Built to support maritime vessels and mobile platforms, it enables reliable communications for operations that require continuous connectivity on the move, on the pause, and at sea, including applications where flexibility across environments is critical.
The equipment delivers resilience and operational flexibility through multi‑orbit satellite communications, combining Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and Geostationary Orbit (GEO) capabilities within a single terminal architecture. It integrates a flat‑panel Ku‑band antenna, an embedded Eutelsat OneWeb modem, and a Wi‑Fi / cellular module, while supporting connection to an external GEO modem. This configuration allows users to switch or combine orbital networks based on mission needs, ensuring service continuity and adaptability across land and maritime operations. With no mechanical moving parts, the electronic beam‑steering design enhances reliability and reduces maintenance in dynamic environments.
Designed as a rugged land or maritime system, the Goshawk u8 is suitable for deployment on various vehicles and vessels, supporting both Comms on the Move and Comms on the Pause operational profiles. Its low‑profile flat‑panel form factor enables straightforward installation on diverse platforms where space, stability and durability are essential. As part of Eutelsat’s LEO equipment range, the Goshawk u8 provides a multi‑orbit, mission‑ready connectivity solution, delivering the flexibility, resilience and performance required for modern maritime and mobile satellite communications.
