The OW50M‑RAC Intellian LEO equipment is a maritime mobility solution designed specifically for smaller vessels and seafarers, delivering reliable, low‑latency connectivity over Eutelsat’s OneWeb constellation. It supports the digital transformation of merchant fleet operations and critical IoT applications, while also enabling commercial fishing vessels and smaller owner or guest vessels to access modern digital services at sea.

Purpose‑built for mobility, the OW50M‑RAC provides dependable broadband connectivity that supports operational communications, crew welfare and onboard services. It enables seafarers to maintain contact with friends and family onshore, while also supporting advanced use cases such as remote access to clinical services for patient care and telemedicine, even when operating far from coastal infrastructure.

The equipment consists of two mechanically steered 53 cm antennas, installed in two independent above‑deck domes. Each antenna is equipped with a 3‑axis stabilisation system, enabling continuous tracking and stable performance while the vessel is in motion. The above‑deck units are connected to an enhanced, rack‑mounted Customer Network Exchange (CNX) below deck, providing 8 Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) ports and a dedicated NMEA port for integration with marine instruments and navigation systems.
