HAWK U8
Flat Panel Equipment
Comms on the Move, Comms on the Pause
The Hawk u8 Kymeta LEO equipment is a mobility‑first, all‑in‑one flat‑panel solution designed to deliver low‑latency, high‑throughput broadband connectivity over Eutelsat’s OneWeb constellation. Intended for government, energy, industrial, first responder and on‑road operations, it supports mission‑critical communications in remote, dynamic and infrastructure‑limited environments, whether operating on the move or on the pause.
The equipment combines a full‑duplex Ku‑band flat‑panel Electronically Steered Antenna (ESA), an embedded Eutelsat OneWeb modem, and an optional Wi‑Fi / cellular SD‑WAN module into a single, integrated system. With no mechanical moving parts, the Hawk u8 uses Kymeta’s proprietary pointing and tracking technology to automatically acquire and track satellites across the LEO constellation, delivering best‑in‑class connectivity while in motion. This architecture enables simultaneous transmit and receive through a single RX/TX aperture, supporting high data rates with low latency for demanding applications.
Designed for flexible deployment, the Hawk u8 is easy to install across multiple configurations, including vehicle roof‑rack mounting, pole‑mounted fixed installations, or as a complete turnkey GO system housed in a ruggedised transport case. Its low‑profile, lightweight design, IP66‑rated enclosure, and wide operating temperature range from –40°C to +55°C ensure reliable performance in challenging conditions. As part of Eutelsat’s LEO equipment range, the Hawk u8 provides a robust, scalable and field‑proven solution for mobility‑driven satellite connectivity.
