MANPACK OW7MP Military
Fully Integrated Flat Panel Equipment
Land-based Comms on the Pause & Comms on the Move
The Manpack OW7MP LEO equipment is an ultra‑portable, fully integrated, military‑grade solution delivering uninterrupted and dependable broadband connectivity over Eutelsat’s OneWeb constellation. Developed specifically for defence and government users, it enables mission‑critical communications in remote, contested and high‑pressure operational environments where terrestrial networks are unavailable, degraded or denied.
Designed to be carried and operated by a single person, the OW7MP Manpack features a compact and lightweight form factor that fits into a standard military rucksack, ensuring maximum mobility for troops operating at the tactical edge. The equipment supports one‑touch network acquisition, enabling immediate operation with minimal operator interaction, even in complex and rapidly evolving conflict zones. Its fully electronic beam‑steering architecture, based on a military‑grade Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA), enables Comms‑on‑the‑Pause (COTP) and Comms‑on‑the‑Move (COTM) scenarios while ensuring high reliability and continuous service availability.
Optimised for low power consumption, the OW7MP maximises mission duration, supporting multiple hours of operation on external batteries. It guarantees reliable connectivity in GPS‑denied or contested environments through integrated Resilient GNSS (R‑GNSS) support, safeguarding operational continuity when positioning or timing signals are disrupted. Built to battlefield‑ready specifications, the Manpack is designed to IP67 ingress protection and fully compliant with MIL‑STD‑810H and MIL‑STD‑461 standards, ensuring exceptional resistance to shock, vibration, extreme weather and electromagnetic interference. As part of Eutelsat’s LEO equipment range, the Manpack OW7MP provides a secure, resilient and highly mobile connectivity solution for front‑line and mission‑critical defence operations.
